A Call to Action: Practicing Justice and Equity in Ndokwa Ukwuani Politics
As I reflect on my experience with a House of Representative member, I am reminded of the importance of integrity and fairness in politics. Despite years of dedicated service and mutual agreements, I was met with frustration and betrayal. My question about the unfulfilled promises was met with hostility, and I was left feeling hurt and disillusioned.
This experience is a stark reminder that politics should not be about personal gain or selfish interests but about serving the people. The PDP party mantra "government of the people, by the people, and for the people" rings hollow when leaders prioritize their own interests over the well-being of their constituents.
I urge our party leaders in the Ndokwa region to take a hard look at our system and make necessary amendments to ensure democracy and equity reign supreme. Let us practice the justice and equity we preach, and let people's feelings, emotions, and mental health be prioritized over selfish politics and greed.
Together, we can create a better future for all. Let the right person’s be recognized.
