Ukwuani Local Government: Chairman Ajede's Address to Protesters, A Commitment to Change"

 Earlier today, the Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede, addressed protesters at the Council Headquarters, praising them for coming together to press home their demands in a peaceful manner.

In his address, he reiterated his administration's commitment to improving the lives of Ukwuani citizens. He commended the protesters for being peaceful and orderly while expressing their dissatisfaction with the hardship, poor governance, and extreme hunger in the country.

Barr Ajede advised the youth to discontinue the protest, assuring them that their requests and grievances have been noted and will be escalated to the appropriate authorities for further necessary actions.

Continuing in his well-articulated speech, the DoMoreAgenda torchbearer enumerated some of his achievements in his previous administration to include - infrastructural development, the employment of over 300 Ukwuani people, the empowerment of over 5,000 persons in the value chain, and granting scholarships to students of Ukwuani origin in tertiary institutions, among others.

He assured them that his administration will do more this term to address some of the concerns raised that are within the purview of the local government.
