Human Capital Development: Over 250,000 Deltans Empowered Thus Far - Delta SSG
The Secretary to the Delta state Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu has revealed that the Delta state Government has so far empowered well over two hundred and fifty thousand Deltans through numerous programs aimed at uplifting the living standards of her people.
Dr. Emu made this known yesterday (12/12/2024) at the Delta state Peace and Advisory Council meeting held at the Unity hall of the state’s government house.
While noting that the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori had placed premium priority on the living conditions of Deltans especially with the dwindling purchasing power faced across the country he said the state government is doing more to ensure that living conditions are improved.
He added that with the well over 1,300 kms of road being constructed across the state, inter communal trade had improved among rural dwellers and traders with more to be done in the coming year.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Council, Prof. Sam Oyovbaire appreciated the Governor for his commitments thus far in improving the state. He also praised the Governor for his continuous support towards the council.
