Cameroon ancestral leaders re Elected again

Marcel Niat Njifenji, aged 90, has been serving as President of Cameroon's Senate since 2013.

 He secured re-election on March 18. 


Cavayè Yengui Djibril, 85, has held the position of President of the National Assembly since 1992. He was re-elected in 2024. 

President Paul Biya, 93, has been ruling Cameroon since 1982, having previously served as Prime Minister from 1975-1982. He is currently  re-elected for another eight years
