Maryam Sanda, who was sentenced to kpai in 2020, for kpaing her husband, just recieved a presidential pardon from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu after spending almost 7 years at the Suleja Medium Security Custodial Centre.

Bello was the son of a former PDP chairman.
In 2020, she was sentenced to kpai by h@nging, and the Court of Appeal upheld the sentence in 2022.
