 Today, we had the public and investigative hearing of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions on the following:

 1)A Bill for an Act to Amend the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act, No. 5 of 2020 (SB. 959), which seeks to provide for the designation, registration, and enhanced supervision of systemically important institutions, and for other related matters; and

 2)The Motion on the Investigative Hearing into the Operations of Ponzi Schemes in Nigeria, with particular reference to the recent Crypto Bullion Exchange (CBEX) incident.

All critical stakeholders were present and proceedings went well.
