EASTER: ANOKA URGEGS CHRISTIANS TO BE GENEROUS, HOLD FIRM TO GOD

The Honourable Commissioner for Energy Delta State, Engr. Michael Anoka, FNSE, has called on Christians across the country to be generous and hold firm to God.

In his Easter message on Sunday, Engr. Anoka called on Christians to remain steadfast in their faith in God, adding that unwavering trust in God is key to overcoming life’s difficulties and building a better society.

While describing Easter celebration as a powerful reminder of hope, faith, and redemption, he urged believers to use the sacred period of Easter to offer earnest prayers for peace, unity, and sustainable progress in Delta State and Nigeria at large.

Anoka encouraged Deltans to continue to seek divine guidance, wisdom, and strength for the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori , as he continues to lead the state.

The Commissioner said that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ represent the ultimate expression of love, sacrifice, and salvation for mankind.

He noted that these virtues should not only be remembered but actively practiced in daily living.

Engr. Anoka therefore called on all Deltans to embrace love, demonstrate compassion, be generous and promote peaceful coexistence in their communities.

The Energy Commissioner noted the importance of maintaining faith in God, who according to him holds the future and directs the affairs of men.

“On behalf of my family and the Ministry of Energy, I extend warm Easter greetings to all Christians in Delta State,” he said.

“May the joy, hope, and power of Christ’s resurrection fill your hearts with peace, love, and abundant blessings. Happy Easter to all Deltans.”
