The Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Sir Okenmor Fidelis Tilije (JP) earlier today, empowered over 60 Petty traders and Farmers across INEC Ward 10 in Ukwuani LGA with cash of 100,000 each.
The financial support according to Tilije remain one of his personal-driven initiative designed to empower farmers and existing small-scale business owners who need assistance in order to expand their farms or strengthen their businesses.
Tilije while presenting the cash to the beneficiaries, urged them to judiciously and strategically utilize the funds to expand their businesses, and explore new opportunities that promise sustainable income.
This initiative is in line with the unwavering commitment of His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori's administration to empowering grassroots communities, fostering economic independence, and ensuring inclusive development across Ukwuani Local Government Area.
